Our Personal Data Protection Policy governs the use and storage of your data. You can see our
Personal Data Protection Policy.
Link2Online is a Controller of the personal data you (data subject) provide us. We collect the
following types of personal data from you:
• Name and Surname
• E-mail address
• Telephone number
• Photos at the event
3. Why we need it
We need your personal data in order to provide you with the ticket for UPGRADE 100 Event.
We need your e-mail address, name and surname in order to deliver you the registration/ ticket
purchased for UPGRADE 100 and/or to communicate with you if you choose to subscribe to our
newsletter.
We need your photos in order to show everyone the energy of the event. We will avoid any close-
ups, portraits and specific identification of the subjects of our photos. If you wish to be removed
from our photo database, please indicate the photo in the UPGRADE 100 album (posted on website
or facebook account www.facebook.com/upgrade100/) and address a written request to
community@upgrade100.com
4. What we do with it
Your personal data is processed by Link2Online located in Romania. Hosting and storage of your data
takes place on Link2Online servers located in Romania.
Your data in processed by OVE.RO (S.C. ONLINE VENUES & EVENTS S.R.L.), a Romanian company who
operates the tickets orders, invoicing process and issuance of electronic tickets. Their T&C can be
consulted at https://ove.ro/termeni-si-conditii
Should you choose to subscribe to our newsletters, your data will be uploaded to MailChimp, who
will act as a Processor. MailChimp operates the delivery of our newsletter. Their privacy policy can be
consulted at www.mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/nk.
The photos from the event will be saved at www.upgrade100.com or www.iqdigital.ro after being
carefully chosen by our specialists. We will try our best not to display personal data however there
might be cases in which you might displayed in some of the photos shared. If you want yourself
removed from these photos please contact us at community@upgrade100.com and we will take the
necessary measures to anonymize your data immediately.
5. How long we keep it
We will keep your personal data for fiscal reasons as required by the Romanian fiscal laws for a
duration of 10 years. If you chose to subscribe to our newsletter we will keep your data for the
duration of the newsletter or until you choose to end your subscription. The photos from the event
will be kept in the timeline of our Facebook account.
6. What are your rights?
Should you believe that any personal data we hold on you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the
right to request to see this information, rectify it or have it deleted. Please contact us at
community@upgrade100.com
If you wish to complain about how we have handled your personal data, please contact Data
Protection Officer at community@upgrade100.com . Our Data Protection Officer will then look into
your complaint and work with you to resolve the matter.
If you still feel that your personal data has not been handled appropriately according to the law, you
can contact Romanian Data Protection Authority at www.dataprotection.ro and file a complaint with
them.
USE OF PERSONAL DATA FOR ADVERTISING PURPOSES
Link2Online will not share your address, e-mail address, credit card information or personal
information to any third party without your permission. You hereby give your consent for
Link2Online to store the following types of data as a profile for internal purposes:
• Mandatory and voluntary data collected when purchasing tickets.
• Mandatory and voluntary data collected when providing opt-in consent to Link2Online use of
data
• Voluntary disclosures when participating in online surveys.
• Data collected from any connected social media for which you have provided my explicit
prior consent.
Personal information
When personal information (e.g. name, e-mail address, work address, phone numbers and other
contact information) is provided through the UPGRADE 100 website or directly to us by e-mail you
give consent to Link2Online for:
• Processing and administering your personal data to perform all necessary actions to give
effect to your request or instructions
• Retaining a record of incoming and outgoing communications (e.g. email) to process your
personal data as outlined in this Privacy Statement.
Link2Online may also collect the following information about you:
• Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site.
• Name and physical shipping, contact and payment addresses.
• Email address and telephone numbers
• Date of birth
• Social Media profiles, e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin
If you contact us we may keep a record of that correspondence.
Information we receive from credit reference and fraud detection agencies or other third parties we
may use to verify your information. We may ask you to complete surveys for research purposes,
although you do not have to respond to them.
Right of Access
You have a right to be given a copy of any of your personal data held by Link2Online in accordance
with section 4 of the Data Protection Acts subject to certain exceptions. Requests for a copy of your

Right of rectification or erasure
If Link2Online holds incorrect information about you which was originally submitted by you through
the UPGRADE 100 website, you have the right to have the data amended. Further, you have the
right to have any information you have sent to us via this website erased.
To request your right to rectification and/or erasure please send your request to
community@upgrade100.com or, in writing, addressed to: UPGRADE 100 Executive Director,
Link2Online, 17C Sevastopol Street, apt.27, Sector 1, Bucharest.
Requests should include:
• Your name and address.
• A description of the specific personal data you wish rectified/ erased.
Please note that Link2Onlineis not required to rectify or erase your data where doing so would
prevent you from meeting your contractual obligations to Link2Online or where Link2Online is
required to process (including retaining) your personal data for a lawful purpose in accordance with
the Data Protection Acts. In the event of any conflict between these terms and the provisions of the
Data Protection Acts, the Data Protection Acts shall prevail.
Security
The security of your Personal Information is important to us. However, no method of transmission
over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use
commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, Link2Online cannot guarantee
its absolute security and cannot accept any liability where the security of your Personal Information
is compromised. The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter
sensitive information on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using secure
socket layer technology (TLS/SSL).
Changes to this Policy
Link2Online serves the right to modify this Data Protection Policy and Declaration of Consent at any
time. Any changes will be posted on our homepage and other places we deem appropriate so that
you are aware of the changes.
COMPLAINTS
Complaints can be made to community@upgrade100.com . We will endeavor to resolve any
customer complaints where reasonable.
INDEMNITY
You agree to be fully responsible for (and fully indemnify us against) all claims, liability, damages,
losses, costs and expenses, including legal fees, suffered by us and arising out of any breach of the
terms by you or any other liabilities incurred by us arising out of your use of the website, or use by
any other person accessing the website using your pc or internet access account.
TEMPORARY STAFF &VOLUNTEERS RECRUITMENT AND REGULATIONS
By agreeing to act as a volunteer at an event, I acknowledge that:
• I will receive no compensation for travel, accommodation etc.
• There is no guarantee that I will be selected to be a volunteer at the event.
• If I violate any event rule or fail to show up for an assigned shift, my accreditation can be
removed and I will be denied access to the event.
• I attest to the truth of all statements made in my application.
• The use of alcohol and/or controlled substances before or while on duty is strictly prohibited.
Violation of this policy will result in immediate dismissal, removal of accreditation and
removal from the event grounds.
• Selection as a volunteer grants permission to Link2Onlineto use the volunteer likeness,
name, voice and words in television, radio, film, newspapers, magazines and other media,
both during and any time after the event, and in any form, for advertising or communicating
the purpose of the event(s).
• In the course of the event, I may be dealing with confidential information and I agree to keep
such information in the strictest of confidence.
• I have read and fully understood these terms and conditions.
